I recently picked this device up high hopes I'd get some interesting psychedelic sounds. Unfortunately the device was defective. I did everything I could to get the unit to work, but alas the unit was a dud. Another note prospective buyers should be aware of is the build quality (or lack thereof.) The unit feels like a cheap dollar store toy. I have tuners that are built much more solid than this unit. L&M staff graciously allowed me to return this defective unit to cut my losses.

I got this to compliment my Monotron Duo, but I never expected for this device to be a mainstay in my rig. The sounds from the tiny keyboard it produces are great for some noise and character, but that is not the reason why the Delay is great. The fact that you're able to plug in a drum machine or other instruments into it what makes this incredible. The abilty to chop up my sounds in such a small device is really fun and convenient, and you're able to control a responsive and great sounding cutoff, feedback, and time. It uses AAA batteries, and this thing just never dies. I used this thing intermittently for a year, sometimes using it for hours on end, and it only finally died recently. The build quality is what you'd expect for its price range. It doesn't feel like it will break easily, but it is made out of plastic so it does feel toy-like. The output signal is a little low if you do end up running other things through it, but not so much that it's unusable for me. Overall, I didn't think this would be as useful as it did. This is an incredible machine and you honestly might as well get it for such a low price. Oh- and it glows under a blacklight!

This thing is more useful than meets the eye. Having a completely analog delay that can fit in your pocket is surprisingly helpful, and I've plugged it into my drum machine and many other instruments. It makes some delightfully chopped up sounds or just good delay in general. The construction could be better, but I'm not expecting much out of a $60 analog delay. Battery life is VERY long. I have not had to replace my battery yet and I have used it quite a bit for a year now. For the price, you really can not go wrong with such a handy device. If you make some experimental music or just want to try something new, I would highly recommend this.
