Compact Combo With Serious Punch and Features

Our BG250-115 may be ultra-portable, but it still houses all the things that make a great bass combo. It's light yet powerful, features super versatile tone shaping tools and it has an onboard tuner specifically calibrated for bass, spanning six strings.

- Ultra-light, Ultra-powerful
- Dual TonePrint Enabled
- Intelligent EQ Section
- Built-in Bass Tuner

BG250-115 also houses the ultimate effects solution: TonePrint! You can swap effect types on the fly via your smartphone and you even get custom TonePrints created by some of the greatest bass players out there - totally free of charge.

Signature Effects. For Free
BG250-115 sports Bass TonePrint, a unique feature that lets you load signature effects into a TonePrint slot. And since more is more, we've included two slots. So load any of the Bass TonePrints and off you go! You can switch between them with the optional Switch-3 footswitch; change them on the fly or mute - whatever you need to create your tone.

We've got an ever-expanding roster of the coolest people in bass today that have given us their signature versions of TC effects, so there's bound to be a sound that inspires you!

Oh, and if you want to use some of the slots for a bit (or a lot) of dirt - go for it! They accept our BassDrive TonePrints as well, which range from TubeDrive - ported from the RH750 - to the crushing 'The Beast' TonePrint. Or maybe you want SpectraComp, our amazing world-class per string compression TonePrint specifically designed for bass players. This allows you to shape your sound, create your tone and basically take the TC Electronic Bass TonePrint arsenal wherever you need it to go.

They're all available for free and you can beam them directly to your BG250 via our bercool free smartphone app or via the TC Electronic website if you want to use a computer.

Power That Moves
What good is having a ton of power if you risk your back or need to rent a forklift every time you have a gig? NO good at all, that's why we designed BG250-115 to have 250 watts of raw power, delivered through our cutting-edge, lightweight Class D amp technology. This helps bring the total weight down to an extremely portable 39 lbs/17.7kg - making it one of the lightest yet loudest combos in its class. This combo has a warm, powerful and fat sound but never loses the high mids or treble frequencies.

Making a Splash
There's no doubt our bass amps tick all the right boxes when it comes to help inspire bassists. We are a dedicated team of bass players who really want to make a difference, so we came up with a bunch of features that really make sense. Some of these extra features include an onboard tuner, TonePrint functionality and an Intelligent EQ Section, giving you a combo that makes life as a bassist much better.

Fine-tuning Bass
BG250-115 has a built-in tuner. How bleeping smart is that? Tune up and start your jam or practice session with the confidence your bass is perfectly in tune.

After tons of research and renting I bought this amp (1x15), had it for for about a month and I love it. Sounds amazing, my band thought it sounded better than the 8x10 Ampeg at our rehearsal studio, set the master at 5 and no problem hearing it in our 5 piece band. I Gigged with it and put it through the board but that was only so the sound guy could work his magic, not because I needed the volume in a medium club. I found I also had more control over the tone because of the way TC does the equalization. The tuner is so-so, good for checking during the show but I use my trusty korg analogue before and between sets. The tone print feature is fun but some of them will affect the volume and frequency so I found they weren’t much use live, however I haven’t tried them all so there might be some better ones in there that will work. I also have to mention that the first amp I brought home developed static after about an hour of playing ( it’s electronics, stuff happens ), I took it back and the second one has been faultless. I suggest if you buy one of these get it from L&M because they have the best return policy in the industry. Overall though, a fantastic amp, fantastic sound, and a whole lot easier on my back. Hope that helps your decision.
