I bought these sticks because I liked the longer length with a ball tip. I was using the Pro Mark Joey Jordison but found myself choking up on the stick and they were becoming too short when I did this. Having been a fan of TB for years I noticed he choked up and I knew he played a ball tip. The added diameter and length (and therefore weight) took a while to get used to, but in the end as my playing evolved they became my stick of choice. My only gripe is the paint; which chips off. I wish we could get the "Stars and Stripes" natural wood finish stick in Canada.

If you like the size and feel of these sticks - they're pretty heavy but I like'em - get the black ones. The white paint will attach itself to your cymbals and make them look awful. I bought the black TB sticks and they left my cymbals looking good.

These sticks are okay, they're decent. The appearance is exceptional, great designing from Zildjian (as usual). The unfortunate thing is when you actually drum with them : as you may know, TB drums with great power, smashing the cymbals furiously. But when you do this with these sticks, the white paint comes off, and the sticks appearance goes down the drain. Overall, they are okay sticks - they haven't broken on me yet, and I love to smash the drums.

These sticks look pretty sick and that might get you into buying them, but please try them at the store or rethink your purchase. These sticks are longer than your average 5b, 5a and have a nice rebound. They are made nice but watch out: 1. The white paint will come off and get on your cymbals, 2. They break pretty easily, overall it's a visually pleasing stick but doesn't do much else
