Great pedal. Very reasonable price. you can add effects on top of each other and has room for 60 of each effect that you make plus another 60 from the sound library. good pedal to get if you want something that can do almost everything.

when you consider that the unit is cheaper then a Boss digital delay and thats just ONE of the pedals contained inside it, its a great value...the more you play with it and figure stuff out the better it gets....have had this pedal for 3 years now and have never regretted it.

Rented this today and I'm quite impressed by the quality this pushes. Great overall processing unit, although I've heard a couple complaints about it coming with only 60 different effects, it's still worth the $250 bucks in my opinion. The superstack option and solo option as well are also really nice for the lead guitarists to shine and its so easy to learn and use.

This is a good pedal with a lot of really good features. The Super Stack is a great way to get a "tube" sound out of a solid state amp. The pedal is very easy to use, but it is difficult to set custom channels. I liked the fact that for not much money I could play around with many different types of effects and modulation. This helped me get my feet wet on a student budget. Now that I am done school and I am building a more customized board, I have a decent idea of which pedals I would like to include. The things I didn't like are: - The loop feature is not nearly long enough. Boss could have gone a little further on this one and it would have added more value to the product - The clean tone is virtually non existent unless you bypass it. It would be nice if there was a more genuine clean tone so it could be used with a couple other pedals - It lacks a good compression setting. My recommendation: this is a good jamming multi effect pedal. If you are unfamiliar with pedals, go ahead and buy this one and get yourself familiarized. When you can afford to/ want to start building a "real board" you will be decently familiar with different effects, so you won't waste money buying expensive pedals just to try them. DO NOT lean on this as a gig pedal, especially if you have shelled out the money for a good tube amp!! Good product, good price, great for beginners!

have to agree with others. decent sound but not sure why they would put octaver in the fx pedal. annoyingly in the way for a live situation, should be volume, wah only. other pedals have similar issue though

Do not listen to other reviews saying that functions get on the way. It's really easy to use. You only need to know what you save on each preset. High quality effects but not the best.

toggling through the FX pedal is annoying on stage. It should be volume and Wah only. There's no way to know what effect you're on. You want wah and you get octaver, now you have to scramble through, not good. Also, Boss is still to tight to include a power supply. Could be a nice pedal if they'd fix this stuff

fx pedal has too many functions for stage use. It should be wah and volume only. The 2 octave effects get in the way. Also, as usual BOSS is too cheap to include a power supply.

This pedal can create good personalized sound but my only recommandation, that's just my opinion, if you have a good tube amp forget it. You will loose all the natural sound of your amp and it will just decrease the quality of the output sound. If you really want a digital pedal i guess you should spend a little bit more.

I bought one used mainly to save delay settings but the tones yiu can create are intimate. I just run this through a clean fender and I can make every new song we write more distinctive. You just need the patience an love of tweaking to find that right sound. The loop function could be longer but 28seconds is impressive....also would have like to have an expresion jack.

Given that Boss supplies a seemingly endless list of possible downloadable libraries, you'd be hard put to find a more convenient Multi FX pedal, by anyone. This is Multi FX #4 for me, and by far the best. Well made, totally functional and reliable, if you can't find a tone in here that does the job, quit playing guitar! Not to mention how great it is for learning, thanks to the Library of tones, it really helps if the song you're learning how to play really sounds like the song, and this the ME 25 does in spades! You can also tweak any of the preset sounds and save it, and the Editor Librarian really does work (once you get the hang of it) so you can save all your fab sounds on your computer, and even save in a gig specific folder, ready for the night. It's a tremendous pedal for the price, great value all round.

This is my first multi-effect pedal. It took me a bit to get into learning how to use it and make my own effect and mix everything around into it. Great for the price, Great for learning about pedals. And great for anyone who would like one pedal that does everything

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
