David Gilmour is recognized the world over for his revolutionary and incomparable sound which he has used to great effect both with Pink Floyd and as a solo artist. When you hear the tones coming out of his red Strat you are hearing him play his signature EMG Pro Series system, the DG20.
This set utilizes our ivory alnico loaded SA single coils, an EXG guitar expander for tonal girth and an SPC presence control to enhance the Strat earthiness, all prewired onto a custom 11-hole white pearl pickguard with white knobs. Drop it in and drop out of this plane of reality, you are going for a ride.

Etant donné le coût du set EMG , j'avais hésitez un peut avant de l'acheter mais une fois l'achat fait et l’installation completer je n'ai eu que du bonheur ...
N’hésitez surtout pas a achetez le set , pour ma part c'est le 500$ le mieux investit sur un instrument que j'ai jamais fait.

Exceptional quality and outstanding sound. I picked up a used MIM Strat and immediately swapped out the electronics with the DG-20 all-in-one kit and it worked perfect. Added a Fender LSR Roller Nut (worth every penny), Fender locking tuners (don't know how I ever lived without these in any guitar), and finally a drop-in BladeRunner Tremelo system (amazing device that required zero adjustments or mods). No matter what I do this guitar cannot go out of tune, and as for the sound... there just isn't anything that comes close to getting that famous Gilmour sound. I would never spend the money on an American Strat again. For less money than the American, you get a far superior guitar (less one fret - the MIM necks are a fret shorter than the American). The final word, you basically get a Fender Custom Shop guitar for less money than an American, and much more range in terms of sounds. Best investment I've ever made into a guitar. Truly brilliant! Worth double what you pay. Now I'm going to hunt for second used MIM Strat and repeat the process for a backup guitar. 5 stars!

I put these in my 2008 STRAT two years ago and haven't looked back! They give me a great sound from any position the pickups are in and a touch of tone and of course....VOLUME! I'll be getting some more of these rockin babies soon for my Les Paul! For me, EMG! ?
