CMD102P - 400W 2x10 Combo with Piezo Tweeter
This product is no longer available.
The CMD102P just might be MarkBass's most versatile combo. It's perfect for any situation. The angled cabinet design allows the unit to be used either as a floor monitor or in standard vertical position. The built-in VLE and VPF filters help create a warm and natural sound, as they do in all MarkBass heads. If you add an external cabinet to the 102 combo, you can fill a large venue with headroom to spare.

I have owned this amp now for about 2 months. I could not believe how light this amp was when I first picked it up. Compared to my 95 lb 4x10 cabinet. When I got it home. I couldn't get the master volume to the first notch. Crazy amount of power. The Peizo tweeter adds great sparkle to your slap sound and can be adjusted using the VLE control. The bottom end is so tight and round. My low B on my 6 string bass has so much more clarity and definition compared to my 4x10 cab. I compared this to my 600 W 4x10 rig at rehearsal and was blown away. Bottom end is so much more punchy. I added my 4x10 cab to it and it just gets better. Will save that for bigger venues. I played a show at a venue I have played at for several years which always had a muddy stage sound and I always struggled to hear my bass. This was the ultimate test for me. For the first time I could hear every staccato, every sparkle, every thump on this muddy stage. My last amp I will ever need to buy. I thank you MarkBass and so does my back!!

for a combo its one of the lightest you'll find for the amount of shear output and sound quality. Regarding sound quality its pristine. the XLR output is super clean and just plane sounds great... no its not a tube amp but it is very pleasing to any P.A, I've run that signal through... a good clean active bass and player on the other end sure helps but the amps holds its own against anything I've seen and heard to date...

Purchased this amp last June, 2015. Been playing bass 20+ years and must say, this is the best amp I've owned. Super light weight, yet delivers the low end(my main concern). Tonal quality overall is outstanding. Was shaking when I paid for it (was I making the right decision price wise?) Worth every penny. I absolutely love this amp. Been gigging with it since purchased, never ceases to amaze me. Plenty of power for any large bar or hall anywhere. anything bigger than that, add a 410 cab and your good to go! Like the tilt feature, but then I lose my beer table!!! I've never had a problem with it so far, this thing is solid. Thank you Mark bass!

twice the amp has blown fuses and the main power supply. the problem is where I live in Canada nobody can fix it, and I live in a major city. the last time I had to ship it across the country to Quebec. overall this product is unreliable. having let me down at gigs at very inopportune times. will see if I can fix it this time and then sell it.

I first demo'd the MarkBass 210 at a jam space in town. I was impressed with both the low end output and power for such a small, light amp. It is perfect for rehearsals and all sorts of smaller venues. But for larger arena stages, outdoor gigs and festivals I feel it is lacks the power and output needed to provide adequate stage volume on the low end. Adding the extra speaker would be essential.

I've now used my Markbass 210 combo at several gigs and am very impressed! It has more power than I need to keep up with both a LOUD drummer and a LOUDER guitar player while still delivering really great tone and a tight low B! Best of all at 44lbs it's a breeze to load in and out! The tilt back design works and I can hear myself clearly at all volumes. I don't even think about what I paid anymore because it delivers exactly what the reviews and manufacturer claim! The only feature I wish this had is a tuner out with a mute switch. Overall: Great combo!

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
