| Alright, so I needed a powerful amp with a low price and great value and that's what drew my attention to this amplifier. I didn't want to order in a disappointment because I tend to shoot first ask questions later however this time I decided I'd do some research. I got mixed results but my gut told me that I should go for because of the one year warranty on it so I'd at least get my money's worth. Anyway the punch-line is that this thing is going to rock your socks off! So when I play half volume the light in my room flickers. That's awesome. But I play varying styles like jazz and rock ect. and there are great smooth tones for that jazz double bass tone, great treble tones for that slap bass sound, and everything in between. It is a tube amp which wasn't specified and it has a four band EQ with passive and active inputs, a defeatable limiter, bass boost, contour, and a horn which can be turned on or off. There's also a 3.5 audio in and XLR audio out. The only problem or questionable thing is that when the horn is turned on it has a slight hissing sound. Other than that, you don't know what you're missing! Posted by Evan Martin on Oct 7, 2011 | |||
