I purchased this on May 5, 2012 from the Burlington location along with the accessory pack. The Accessory pack is a great deal for $40 and highly recommend it. This recorder may seem pricey at first, but once you experience the audio quality you will not be disappointed. When i played back my first recording i was stunned at the high quality playback, the depth, sharpness, clarity, and accuracy of audio this thing captures is addictive. The video quality is not bad, the only thing missing is image stabilization...a tripod is a must. I suggest you do not use the SD card that comes with it because it's too slow, go out and get a Sandisk class 6 or class 10 SDHC card for best video quality. Buy this! I was quite surprised at the clarity of the video HD. Colors are bright and vivid. It has easily surpassed all of my previous camcorders but it's so small and lightweight. A little more zoom would have been nice. Like the HD video, the high resolution and depth of image of the stereo recordings is great. With a bit of forethought on the placement, stereo recordings of our jazz quartet rehearsals, brought very good results, and the soundstage image is stable and deep. This is very well engineered. Nice resolution choices for video and audio. I've had it for about 9 months now, and I really enjoy using it. It's a little pricey though, but, it's a quality product and super portable. And I've used several different brands of SD cards and it's not fussy at all about what I bought on sale. Posted by anonymous on Feb 14, 2012
