| It is a very basic electronic drum set up. but great for practice. Nothing beats the feel of real drums (pun intended!) and yes, the snare is "tricky" but the advantage of that is that you really have to up your impact and pressure skills while playing, which will result in more precise dynamics when playing a real kit.
