I purchased 4 kits to use in my teaching studio,aside from adding Sabian cymbals I also put Remo Pinstripes on the toms.These drums get played 10 hours a day 6 days a week (sometimes they get loaned out for Jam Nights) these are a perfect kit for beginners-intermediant drummers......great value and they stand up well.I replace them every 6 months and sell the old kits to my students. I bought this set about 3 months ago and lets just say, Best Kit I have ever bought!!! I love the price, love the Sound (if you tune it right) and love = every thing!!!!! But buy new cymbals.... The CB cymbals that come with it sound terrible, I bought mine used from L&M for 200!!! With New heads, so i got it better for cheaper! Posted by anonymous on Nov 9, 2012

I highly recommend this set for all beginning drummers.Spend less on your drums and more on your cymbals as you can always improve your drums with new heads and tuning but you can't improve the sound of your cymbals. Posted by anonymous on Oct 2, 2012

Don't let the price of this drum kit fool you, it goes head to head with drum kits of similar construction and materials that are twice the price. With good heads and proper tuning, this kit sounds surprisingly rich. Posted by anonymous on Jul 30, 2012
