FL studio loop edition is a great buy and very user friendly. The price is amazing, making mixes and beats is so easy and fun. Honestly you couldn't go wrong with this but there's one issue. Audio recording is not available with this edition (which is one of the most important features you NEED in any D.A.W). There are ways to get around this set back though but it would be nice if image line would let you record audio. Posted by Art on Feb 8, 2013

I've been using FL Studios since version 8. FL Studios is a very user friendly and expansive program. It tends to be underrated due do it's user friendly performance. Why? People see it as a intro program, and once they're comfortable they move on. They assume the program isn't capable of the performance they would like it to have. Generally, this happens because they hear about professionals doing immaculate productions on bigger programs such as Pro Tools or Logic. You just need to keep digging, you can't learn this program in a couple of days! As a 4 years user, this program is great. There's nothing that I've wanted to do, that this program doesn't offer. Importing different plug-ins is fast, and simple so there's always room for expansion. I've produced and recorded metal tracks, with help from Plug-ins like Drum Kit from Hell (created by Meshugga through toon track), dubstep with plug-ins built in such as sytrus and native instruments Massive (not included), Hip-Hop tracks with a mix of FLs stock drum kits and imports, symphonies strictly using FL built in plug-ins, sound founts, and virtual instruments. The only issue I've come across is CPU overloads. Trying to run multiple large plug-ins at once can eat away at the CPU drastically and slow down performance. This isn't a huge issue, just a tiny one. Overall, worth the purchase, make it, you won't regret it! Posted by Danny on Sep 26, 2012
