| I recently bought this amp with one 1x15 and one 2x10 Portaflex cabs. I am amazed at how well this head performs. This solid state head gives you great Ampeg tone at a very decent price, it is light weight yet produces awesome fat low end tones. The controls are easy to use and the low and high boost buttons are really nice and whip out a very tube like feel. The only negative comment that I have for this is that if you hook a foot-switch up to it it will only control the mute and FX loop on/off, it would be nice if it would control the high and low boosts. I have yet to play a gig with this rig but my band jams pretty loud and with 500W output I am sure it will shine on stage. Posted by Mitchel Baldwin on May 5, 2012 | |||
