I just bought this guitar about 3 weeks ago, I love everything about it all except for a few things. The fretwork on mine is a little off and the input jack was loose on day 1. Other than the fretwork, she plays like a beauty. I did lower the humberbucker cause i felt it was over powering the single coil duncan set up. I own two of these bad boys and they are great guitars. Heads up; you should try a few and make sure you get one with better fretwork and better neck. Also; I ranked the quality low because I find you have to swap out the toggle switch, input jack, and pots for a proper gigging guitar. The pickups and hardware are ace right out of the box. I picked up one of these last year. Was looking for a beginner guitar but something that was a little better than the Squiers that you get in the guitar packages. The guitar associate (super helpful btw) said he just got a Squier Tele Custom 2 that was traded in that needed new strings, but was in amazing condition. Bought this 'cuz I needed a cheap guitar uber fast. Wanted something more than a standard tele and wasn't too crazy with the Fender humbuckers used in the traditional Customs and Deluxes. After watching countless reviews on YouTube, I decided on the Squier Tele Custom II. It truly is an amazing guitar.
