I bought this to learn banjo. I compared the sound of the Epiphone mb-200 and this banjo. Both sounded great even compared to more expensive banjos. I think the cc-50 sounded slightly better but they were very close in sound. The quality seems very good. It stays in tune well. It looks good too. Personally I like the dark wood on this banjo.
