| I wanted to reduce the metalicy sound of my acoustic guitar and increase playability. So I bought the 11-46 phosbronze gauge. I prefer the mellow sound because I play some blues/rock. This Dean Markley is just amazing and good investment. The smaller gauge didnt, for me, sacrifice the brightness. It was good enough for my everyday practice at home without annoying my neighbour. It is affordable enough. It last me about 4-5 months with one hour practice/day. Posted by anonymous on May 7, 2012 | |||
