It's a very nice snare. Being a fan of Jordison myself, this was a given to get this snare, and it did live up to it's expectations. It's VERY loud, and the steel gives it a nice pop. The only thing I don't like is that it produces lots of metallic overtones, but nothing that can't be fixed with some moongel or dampening rings. Holds up like a tank, very strong and sturdy.
