|with a handful of L&M gift cards and a sweet xmas bonus, I went into the store planning to spend a whack of money on something shiny, new, and expensive. Something I could brag about.
I loved the look of this guitar, it's got character, but the price was lower than what I was looking to spend. I picked it up anyways, and holy crap. I quickly learned that a pricetag is no way to judge a guitar. Or maybe it is. So I tried a few others. But the Marauder kept calling me. The sound, the tones, the feel, the playability. I fell in love with EVERYTHING about this guitar.
I'm a casual guitar player, so take that into account. I'm not into specs, and I don't know a lot about the technical side of things. But I am very, very happy with this guitar. My epiphone has gone back into its case, and will likely stay there.|

|I love this guitar. It does thick, smooth, strat-like tones to jangly surf chime and lots in between. I'd buy it again in a second if I were to lose it.|

|The build quality of this guitar at this price point is truly amazing. The tonal range of this guitar is very versatile for just about any style of music. The P-90-like Jazzmaster neck pick is very bluesy, and the triplebucker at the bridge is capable of some very heavy tones. Love this guitar.|

|Plays great and sounds incredible for a guitar in this price range. The pup configuration allows for a range of sounds/tones to accomodate nearly any style. A steal at this price. Well done Fender!|
