For $300, I think it's a great grab. This is probably my 5th interface, and I've used everything from a mixer w/a rca oriented interface (behringer), dual input (m-audio, tascam), and 8 input (tascam, zoom). Honestly, for the price, I don't think you'll find a more reliable option. Works effortlessly with my MBP. I'm used this for 12-15 demos for local bands, with great results. Salesperson mentioned it didnt work with the MacBook Air

The sales person mentioned the AudioBox 44VSL as a good unit for my new Ableton Live touring set up. But when we spoke that I wanted to use a new Mackbook Air he said they had problems with AudioBox 44VSL not getting enough power from the USB or Thunderbolt to run the unit. While looking at it I mentioned that 44VSL had its own power supply and he said that didnt matter. Sad, looks like a good unit. Posted by MM on Dec 25, 2012
