I have owned and used many bass bins over the past 25 years and the UCS1's are the best bang for the buck I have ever found. They aren't too heavy and I have no problem using them by myself including lifting them in and out of my van. They can take way more power than they are rated for. I regularly put 1800 watts continuously through them all night long and they sound fantastic. Nice and punchy, not muddy at all. They sound a lot more powerful than a single 15 inch driver in a single enclosure. I use 2 of the outdoors regularly and they throw the bass well over 50 feet no problem. If you think you need a double 18 inch bass bin weighing 200 pounds, think again. The UCS1 with the right EQ settings and lots of power will do the job of much bigger bass bins.
