I've used one of these (bass version) for 2 years now and it works great. I got it in Nashville at the IBMA World Of Bluegrass Trade Show at the D'Addario booth. I use it on my acoustic bass (gut and wire wound strings)it works great! And I have used it on guitar, resophonic guitar and banjo. The guitar and reso work fine but the banjo strings might be too thin although it still works. I have since gotten another (guitar) and this too works fine! Posted by John on Dec 17, 2009
