| It's regular on position is a great clean boost. I play with it always on and use the actual Boost button for solos and heavier play. If you are into heavier music this pedal is great when combined with things like an Ibanez TS9 or Fulltone OCD to get a little heavier sound. This pedal is good for all playing styles. | I needed a pedal that could do a clean boost or a soft crunch to a modern heavy drive. This pedal was able to do them all. The only drawback was that you can have 1st overdrive as very light and then the boost really high for lots of drive because there will be a massive volume difference. | This pedal does everything from clean boost to vintage overdrive to the super heavy modern stuff.
The boost function makes it a two stage pedal which adds that extra drive for soloing.
