Presonus 16.4.2 Best way to go digital.

I have had my Presonus 16.4.2 for over a year. I use it both in my home studio and for live gigs. There are so many features. 16 XLR inputs featuring the award winning Xmax preamps, all channels feature full semi parametric EQ,Gate,Compressor/Expander. There are 6 Aux sends all with full "Fat Channel control. 2 fantastic on board effects processors. The 16.4.2 also has 4 sub groups for very flexible routing. I run my mixer through a PC using Virtual Studio Live and a wifi router and can control the whole show, both monitor mix and FOH using mi IPAD. No more cumbersome audio snake. It allows me to make adjustments in the crowd where the audience is. From VSL I have up to 8 - 31 band EQ's for adjusting the FOH and also on the monitor mix to eliminate nasty feedback. Also with the Presonus 16.4.2 you get a program called Capture which allows you to record up to 16 tracks with a click of the mouse and after the show play it back adding all your dynamics,EQ's and effects and clean up any nasty bleed over problems.The board also comes with a fantastic DAW called Studio One v2 Produced which will allow you make quality recordings and dump them to mp3.
