I've had a King Pin II for several years. I had some original issues with mine too. Just little things like the bridge and poorly mounted pickups. But this is a nice stay-in- tune, improves with age instrument. I'd buy another one. Posted by capoman on Sep 19, 2012

I bought the the Kingpin and hated it for a year until I got it set up. Re monuted the pickups so they fit level under the strings. Changed the bridge to a tuneomatic so I could set up the harmonics and actually get the guitar in tune in all chords at the same time. The guitar is nice and worth the effort and money if you are willing to get some work done to set it up. Godin could do better on monuting pickups and the electronics and then put a decent $20 dollar adjustable bridge on it. It is such a well made instrument otherwise and the fit and finish on mine is perfect. I'm glad I own it now. Posted by Plunker on Feb 28, 2012
