| I purchased a very expensive Taylor guitar and as I have lived in Labrador for nearly 40 years, I knew that the lack of humidity in the winter months was going to be a real problem. I had tried other methods of humidification on a Martin that I own for over twenty years with varying amounts of success. Within months of returning home with my Taylor and faithfully using other methods to keep it from drying out, I began to notice that the fretboard and neck were shrinking and the frets were sticking out. I ordered the Humidipak and within weeks, the neck was back to normal. I could feel and hear the difference. The only drawback, if you could call it that, is that due to the severe lack of humidity in the north in winter time, the packets don't last very long (about 6 weeks on average).
