| One of the best tele I have played. Everything is right on this tele, the mini humbucker at the neck is awesome. The neck is amazing. The finish is great, nitro, what else would you want. Posted by anonymous on Feb 24, 2013 | |||

| Hello,
I bought an early first year(2007) edition of this guitar on site at the scarborough long and mcquade store over two years ago. A most impressive and authentic tele, with great detailing, and the mini humbucker seymour duncan neck pick up. The most Spectacular Swamp Ash Body grain I have ever seen on a fender product!!! 6.7 pounds, thin trans butterscotch NITROCELLULOSE finish, jaw dropping to look at! Nice touches like the rounded down back edges of the bridge pick up box, nitro finish on the fret board, with a very thin satin finish on the back of the neck with rolled edges that make the neck feel super comfortable and broken in, like an old pair of jeans.(sorry for overused expression but it fits) The bridge pickup is awesome with all the right tele frequencies and liveliness, spank and brawn, wicked, wicked bridge pick up, "broadcaster" like....a little more lower mid frequency spike that ROCKS. The neck s/d pick up is WAY more expressive then a standard tele neck p/up and just plain SMOKES! Adds more girth and really sparkles at the same time. The in-between p/up setting is wide open, huge, and beautiful. Every sound is awe inspiring. The u shaped neck is bountiful yet easy to get around on. The detailing, craftsmanship, the quality of the woods, the finish, the pickups, the smoothness of the volume/tone pots, fret work, EVERYTHING is spot on and the sounds are what you'd expect for a $2000.00 american tele. Everyone drools when they see it, and players get huge smiles if I let them play it;) A solid investment, plays great, sounds stunning, and looks like it should be hanging in a museum. If you've always wanted "the one" tele that will make everything in the world feel alright...this is your baby....a great, great guitar.
cheers,
