Just did my school dance and cranked this and even in the cement school, you could feel the bass outside! UNBELIEVABLE!

I love this sub. I had used the Yorkville 10" LS 200P before for my DJ gigs, and been very impressed. I went in to see my homies at the Port Coquitlam L&M recently, with the intention of finally buying the 200P. Just for fun I decided to demo the 801P. I was amazed. The one sub filled the whole store with quality, distortion-free bass. I would have no problem recommending everyone I know in the mobile DJ game to run out and pick one of these up. Pros: - thunderous bass - clean sound - great looking Cons: - heavy (I'm 255 lbs, and I struggle to lift it!) - confusing connections (manual says to take a balanced out from your passive speakers to the sub inputs... who has a balanced out from their passives?!) - expensive ($1500 plus tax stings, but I could imagine getting lots of years out of this sub)

The only feedback is that I only wish this sub went down lower then 45hz. Around 35 would be good. Currently I use one of these bins at Whitby's only Country/Dance Night Club.(Rodeo Saloon) I find using one is more then enough for a room that holds 250. I am using a DBX Driverack Pro+ to control my sound.
