Cameron Hazel is graduate of York University with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with a focus in jazz performance and jazz theory. Over the last 14 years Cameron has played in a number of different stage bands, pit bands, as well as guitar ensembles. Whether it be Jazz, Rock, Metal music, or transcribing pop melodies, Cameron is comfortable teaching and playing a wide variety of genres. He hopes to inspire and instill confidence in all of his students, and help them find and pursue their love for music the way his teachers were able to do for him.

Dan began music lessons at the age of 5, he has since gone on to complete RCM level 8 in both piano and theory. Jerritt Craig is a bassist, guitarist and educator based out of the Durham Region. He is a well respected player within the Durham Music Community, currently a part of several projects such as the Marc Joseph Band, Rachel & Ayden, and the Nathan Carr Band. Formerly a student at the prestigious Humber College of Music, Jerritt spent years honing his craft and styles of education to ensure excellent results with students. Kevin Bolger is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program. Kevin began playing Guitar in his early teens, and soon after grew an interest in Jazz. Over the years, Kevin has studied with a wide variety of musicians such as; Rob Bulger, Tony Zorzi, Joey Goldstein, Nathan Hiltz, Trevor Giancola, Lorne Lofsky, Ted Quinlan, Denis Chang, Kirk MacDonald and many more. While at Humber, Kevin had the opportunity to play alongside vocalist Emilie-Claire Barlow and have his own music featured on Jazz FM’s Jazzology. Kevin has shared the stage with vocalist Teresa Doyle as part of the TD Always on Stage Jazz Festival, in PEI. In addition to writing music for his quartet known as the Kevin Bolger Organ Quartet, Kevin continues to perform around the GTA.

Nancy Davidson holds a Bachelor of Music from UofT and is a Certified Level 3 Carl Orff Instructor. Carl Orff created a method of teaching music using poetry, rhythm, singing and movement. is a graduate from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Music and has studied with Dave Langguth (drummer for Nelly Furtado, Kim Mitchell & Streetheart). Sarah has performed as a classical musician in several Symphony Orchestra’s and production companies on theatre projects, and often performs with a number of different groups and rock/indie projects throughout the GTA, also works with up-and-coming country artist, John Anderson. Sarah has opened for artists/bands such as; Ritchie Kotzen (Poison, Winery Dogs, Mr. Big), Platinum Blonde, Ashley McIsaac, Derek St. Holmes (voice of Ted Nugent), Carl Dixon (of April Wine, Coney Hatch The Guess Who) and Ellevator.

sharon cheng (Piano, Flute)

Sharon started her musical journey at the age of four at one of the most prestigious music schools in Taiwan for piano, and later branched out to flute. She attended the University of Windsor where she obtained a major in Music Performance for flute with a minor in piano. She holds RCM certificates for both flute and piano, and is currently working toward her Grade 10 and ARCT for piano. While her professional focus has been on sharing her passion for music with her students, she has perfected her craft under the tutelage of Jaimie Wagner at University of Windsor, Pandora Bryce at University of Toronto, and Mizi Tang of the Beijing Symphony Orchestra.

sindhu amirthiah (Violin)

Sindhu has played the violin for over 15 years and counting. She has completed over 8 grades of ABRSM violin examinations and music theory. She was also a part of the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka and is currently a first violinist in the Durham Chamber Orchestra. Coming from both a musical and teaching background, Sindhu believes the key qualities to learning the violin are patience and an open mind. As a violin teacher, she hopes to help her students explore, improve and grow.

During these years she has prepared numerous students for Royal Conservatory Examinations and the Kiwanis Music Festival with the highest degrees of achievement. Sydney Clarke currently holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Manitoba’s Desautel Faculty of Music where she studied under Tracy Dahl (CM). In addition, she has a Bachelor Degree of Music from Thompson Rivers University in association with the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music (GGS) in Toronto. Most recently, Sydney performed the role of PHOEBE in Dry Cold Productions’ A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, but has performed in theatres and operas all over Canada. Sydney is a winner of the 2020 Women’s Musical Club of Winnipeg’s McLellan Competition. She has also won first place in the 2020 Manitoba Registered Music Teacher’s Association Scholarship Competition.
