Symphony Hamilton Young Artists' CompetitionLong & McQuade is pleased to support Symphony Hamilton's Young Artists' Competition.
Symphony Hamilton is dedicated to nurturing young musical talents through a number of venues and opportunities. One of these is the Young Artists' Competition. This year again the orchestra will hold the competition for young musicians, giving them a chance to win a bursary and play as a soloist with the Symphony orchestra.
Purpose:
To provide an opportunity for young area musicians to perform as a soloist with orchestra.
Prize:
The winner of each category will receive $200 and perform as a soloist in our 2010-2011 season.
Categories:
The competition is open to orchestral instruments (brass, woodwinds, and strings), harp and voice.
