DJ 101 with Ryan Dejaegher
Join us for a crash course with local mixing specialist Ryan Dejaegher. Ryan will explore a brief history of DJing, and will help you gain a better understanding of beat creation, mixing, software and gear. He will also cover topics like setting up your first show! Ryan is a local DJ who has worked with Traktor for eight years and is passionate about helping others learn the skills they need to DJ. If you’ve always wanted to learn or are just starting out, this is the workshop for you!

Bass and Beyond with Peter Davyduck
Join us for an afternoon of bass. Explore new ways of constructing everything from bass lines to bass tones. This workshop will be hosted by Peter Davyduck, a Fender Product Specialist and JUNO Award-winning bassist, who will be answering all of your questions!

Guitar Effects 101 with Ben Winoski
Back by popular demand, Ben Winoski will focus on the essential pedals every guitarist needs. Ben will also demonstrate examples of distortion, reverb, delay, chorus and EQ pedals. Ben is the assistant manager at the Long & McQuade Regina location and also looks after the acoustic guitar department. He has always shown an interest in guitar effects for both electric and acoustic applications. If you’ve been curious about pedals but don’t know where to start, this workshop is for you!

Heavy Metal 101 with Tim Roth
Join us for all things heavy metal, including topics related to performing, songwriting and touring. Tim will be joined by Into Eternity bandmates Troy Bleich and Bryan Newbury. They will be taking questions, discussing the best gear and techniques, and performing some live demonstrations. Tim Roth is part of the Regina Long & McQuade guitar department. Into Eternity is an internationally known heavy metal band that has played and toured with icons such as Megadeth, Dream Theater, Opeth and Judas Priest.
