In a marked departure from traditional beyerdynamic headphone design, the striking aesthetics of the new DT 1350 make it stand out from the crowd, delivering a professional, timeless quality that is both attractive and rugged.

A combination of highly efficient ambient noise reduction and an impressive maximum sound pressure level (129 dB) make the DT 1350 an ideal compact over-ear headphone for audio engineers, musicians and DJs. Regardless of whether you are a sound engineer monitoring PA systems, a live musician or a DJ, the DT 1350 delivers every time.

The Tesla drivers offer an enormous degree of efficiency with extremely low levels of distortion, allowing the DT 1350 to produce a perfectly balanced, analytical sound even at the highest volumes. Great little set of cans. Very clear, uncoloured. Frequency response remarkably flat for this class of HP. Bass is balanced, but nearly bottomless. Highs are a bit strident but they're getting better and I think there is still some burn in left. Requires a bit of adjustment each time you put them on to get the drivers in the right spot, they are very sensitive to ear positioning. Vast sound improvement over the T50P model. Somewhat more defined than HD25-1 ii, though lacking the warmth. Fit and finish overall good. Headband pads seem delicate.... Decently comfortable for a sealed supra. Clamping tension may be tight if you have a larger head or sensitive ears. Will catch your hair if it's long while adjusting. Split headband design very comfortable. Build seems to be a shot at the HD25-1 ii, and in my opinion, these are superior. Sound isolation is very impressive. Only thing user-replaceable seems to be the earpads (this includes the cable). Not a huge fan of the cable, in this price range I wish it had been user replaceable. Also, the plug is bulky and rubbery. Sennheiser nailed the plug on their Momentum HPs, wish these had their articulation. Most of my gripes are small nitpicky things. Bottom line, sound is terrific, superb clarity and balance for closed on ear. Great portability factor, though they don't fold down. Feels solid, looks great. My new go-to portables.

After extensive testing, after buying these, I have concluded that they are amazingly good quality... BUT, at the cost of comfort. I find that after a few minutes the ears get very warm, then HOT... and as if that weren't bad enough, after about 30-40 minutes the pressure of them resting on the ears is so uncomfortable that I have to go back to using my Sennheiser HD 555's. The longest I can "bear" having these Dt1350's on is about 60 minutes... the heat and the pressure just make them intolerable to continue wearing, and I'm likely returning them in search of a better more comfortable alternative

The best description I could think of for these headphones is that it's like an IEM, but with the missing bass! Incredibly accurate, detailed, and musical for a closed can... these sounds better than my DT770(32 ohm). I find it bass heavy for casual listening and have to EQ it down, but in a loud environment it's about right. The phones EQ well with long as you're not too aggressive. (ie. AKG K702 hates the equalizer) It stays snug on my head however the clamping force on my ears makes it uncomfortable after a couple hours - worse if you wear glasses. Because its so small, I put the arms of my glasses over the top of my ears instead of between my head and the headphone. I'll be switching between these and my Ety's for extended use. For the price there should have been a detachable cable AND the microphonics are quite noticeable. -2 points for something so easily addressed. Very usable on portable player, but not as refined as a proper headphone amp. If you are plugging this into your "i" product, get the EQ app to get the most out of them. Forget those "monster" headphone, you get clarity and bass with these puppies! The build is bulletproof.
