| I bought this to learn banjo. I compared the sound of the Epiphone mb-200 and this banjo. Both sounded great even compared to more expensive banjos. I think the cc-50 sounded slightly better but they were very close in sound. The quality seems very good. It stays in tune well. It looks good too. Personally I like the dark wood on this banjo. Overall I am happy with this banjo and would recommend it to a beginner or more advanced player. Another one to consider in this price range is the Fender Rustler open back banjo. Its basically the same as this banjo just slightly fancier. L&M has it. Its just not on their site at this time. Posted by Darryl on Dec 1, 2012 | |||
