This one-of-a-kind snare drum were commissioned by Long and McQuade in 2011 and have been manufactured to specifications provided by Long and McQuade's team of drum experts. The 14x7 shell is made using 9 plies of European Beech wood (8.75mm) and it fitted with low mass lugs finished in black chrome, featuring Sonor's patented tunesafe system. The outer lacquered finish is a stunning angle-cut block veneer called "Blue Roots" and was previously only available exclusively on Sonors's Designer Drum Seris. The steel snare action strainer and die case hoops are also finished in black chrome. Sensitive 20-strand steel snare wires and Remo Ambassador series drum heads enhance the sound characteristics of the drum. Prior to shipping, your drum has been fitted with the Long and McQuade Signature Badge, featuring "L&M" logo together with the Sonor logo and indicating the production number of your drum!
