Description

Love the sound of an authentic rotary cabinet, but hate the bulk and inconvenience? Put Neo Instruments' Ventilator Pedal in your rig and get the performance, without the hassle! The Ventilator emulates a Leslie 122 rotary cabinet, right down to the independent treble and bass rotor speeds, the crossover (800Hz), and even that rich tube drive that the classic cab adds to your sound. This amazing 2-footswitch pedal even includes microphone placement emulation, so you can choose the perfect setup and sound for your rig. Love the sound of your amp, but want that rotary magic? Switch off the Ventilator's speaker simulator. And, thanks to true-bypass switching ensures that your sound is completely intact when the Ventilator is switched off.

This amazing pedal lets you adjust rotary speed and acceleration, so you get that outstanding rotary speaker vibe from your existing rig; it's perfect for touring players (or anyone who wants that Leslie vibe, without the physical cabinet). The road-tough Ventilator is housed in a rugged aluminum chassis and it's knobs are recessed, so you get worry-free performance onstage. A remotely switchable rotary stop means you're not tethered to one part of the stage when you're using the Ventilator. This pedal makes a rotary rig a reality!

I have played my fair share of B and C3s as well as clonewheels through real Leslies and a range of sims. This unit leaves every other sim in the dust. The ramp up and down are excellent, but that's not unusual these days. What sets this unit apart is the fact that it seems to add tube harmonics - gentle to heavy overdrive - and something that sounds like a speaker in a wood cabinet. Nothing can quite equal swirling sound waves on stage, but I've had a number of musicians at gigs come up and tell me how close this sounds to the real thing. The unit is pricey, but worth it. Besides, think of what yuo'll save in chiropractor bills from not lugging around 150 pounds of 147
