The Radial Shuttle is a multi-function 500 series module that makes routing signals to, from and around the Workhorse easy. The design begins with three effects insert loops. Loop-1 is a fully balanced insert with front panel TRS connectors that is used to route studio effects. Loop-2 is an unbalanced insert with " jacks for quick connection to pedals and other effects devices. The third loop is a TRS insert that is accessed via the Workhorse Omniport. This is ideally suited to interface with a studio patchbay. Each insert has its own bypass switch.
Patch points on the rear of your 500 series rack can be used to feed the Workhorse mixer as can the insert loop return jacks. This handy feature makes it super easy to bring program tracks back into the Workhorse for overdubbing while totally eliminating concerns such as latency. The Shuttle also lets you bring non-Radial modules into the Workhorse mixer by providing a bridge to the internal buss. Just plug in, assign the Workhorse FEED switch and all your favourite modules are now Workhorse enabled!
With a Shuttle in your rack, you are now able to bring all kinds of effects and dynamic controllers into the signal path. Add faders, limiters, multi-effects processors or patch in samples from your field recorder. The Shuttle makes just about any routing option possible.
