Description

Carlos Santanas influence as a PRS guitar player led to the development of our SE electric guitar series, which launched in 2001. In honor of that legacy, PRS is proud to offer the all-new SE Santana. The SE Santana is the first guitar in the SE series offered with a 24 1/2 scale length and is also the first SE created using the same silhouette as Carloss revered American-made PRS models. We believe this guitar and its appointments honor Santanas skill and style better than ever and offer players great quality and value.

I had wanted to try one of these out for a while but they were never in stock. After playing one for 5 minuted I can see why. Really nice neck, well finished, no rough frets edges. This is a good guitar for the money.

Looking at some of the more expensive models but on picking up and playing the SE Santana it was love at first chord. Great action, responsive tone, and versatile. Took a little getting used to the neck scale but after a few hours it was awesome and it fits my fingers nicely!

Right out of the box, action and intonation was bang on. Very comfortable and well balanced, fret edges smooth as a baby's behind. Sound versatility is great. Do I love it? You bet.

Very well made and finished. Solid feeling, the pickups offer a warm voice or some snarl and good range of tones. So good looking with those birds and orange flame top.

This guitar is simply amazing! From it's beautiful looks, to the quality of it's parts, to the unmatched versitility the stock pickups offer. Alot of people give PRS alot of flack for reasons such as the fact that they don't look or feel like the traditional Gibsons or Fenders they're used to, but this guitar will become a part of your dna in seconds. When I first plugged it in, the notes rang clear as a bell. Clicking on some distortion and delay through my boss me-70,I instantly had that 80's Slash tone. Unbelievable! I own and have played MANY guitars, and this one stands up to ANY $3000+ guitar I've ever laid hands on in terms of sound and quality. It's worth every penny.
