The CMC carries four newly developed FD, touch-sensitive faders that Provide precision control over Cubase four channels at the same time. What sets apart the CMC-PD is the ultra-high resolution of up to 1.024 steps - a big plus that Allows you to fine-tune the volume level with utmost accuracy. But the CMC fader controller thus functions as a convenient level meter. Once in the meter mode, red LED lights exactly Indicate the volume levels of the selected tracks.

The navigation through the Cubase mixer is as easy as it gets: simply press the Channel Select or Bank Select buttons and jump directly to the desired channels or whole groups of channels in the Cubase mixer. For even more convenience in the mixing process, you can solo and mute channels by simply pressing the Shift button and tapping onto the respective touch strip - that's it.

Best of all, up to four units can be CMC-FD combined to build a fully fledged, sixteen-channel touch control desk.
