Upon opening it up it seemed the guitar was a scaled down version, which was great as I have small hands. The body finnish was good, neck was straight, frets were done nicely, hardware was tight to the body, setup wasnt too bad,and it was extremely lite. All in all a good deal for 200$ I thought. The only negative was that the holes were too bog for the shoulder strap, but that was an easy fix. Upon playing it,the neck was smooth and easy to play on,but after awhile the b and e string would get slightly outta tune. Not a big deal to me.The guitar felt balanced quite well and was a nice fit for me all around. I didnt expect much from the amp,and I was right. The distortion left alot to be desired, being real tinny and muddy at the same time.I switched through all pickups and found the best sound I could get was with the clean.Very nice.Obviously playing through single coils you would expect that.I tried my Epiphone Dot Studio through the amp and it was even more muddy. The amp is good for clean sounds with either an electric or semi acoustic,or running a pedal through it mite help.If you run the guitar thriugh another amp that would be better. I swapped out the stock pickups with a set of Tex Mex's ones and what a difference! They were alot hotter and overall way better quality in sound. My friends were making fun of the guitar until I played it through one of my other Fender amps and they were stunned at how it sounded! I of course didnt tell em I swapped out the pickups! The better amp helped too. They all took a turn on it and were impressed by its playability. For 200$ you cant go wrong with this package!
