Description
Possibly the number one passive high-output subwoofer in its size category, the Elite LS808 loads an advanced 800-Watt 18-inch bass driver into a high-efficiency rear-loaded horn enclosure with resonant bass tuning. The result is thunderous maximum sound pressure levels of 134dB and lows that shake the walls down to 45Hz. Considering that these are specifications normally attributed to large-format, dual-driver subs, the LS808's comparatively compact dimensions add a major pack-out or installation advantage.
Inputs include parallel pairs of 1/4-inch jacks and Speakon-4 connectors with the Speakons wired to a configuration switch that allows instant reversal of pinouts for easy sub/full-range biamped hook-ups using a single four-conductor cable.
Hardware includes four steel bar handles including tilt-backs, rugged tilt-back wheels and a steel top-mounted pole stand adapter that effectively turns the LS808 into a stand base.
