This guitar should be worth more! It plays amazing, and its light as a feather. The neck on this guitar is insane. I mean cmon the dude from the band counterparts uses it too. Only problem is, the color on the back fades and mine got beat up fast lol

Where do I start. I have owned MANY and I mean MANY guitars from Godin to Jackson to Fender to PRS...etc this RGMH321 is a delight to play. The nice light weight body and wizard II neck make this thing a real contender. I HIGHLY recommend you give one a try and then lay down the sub $400 to bring it home. I have 5 guitars in my collection and out of all of them this is such a treat to play. Great warmth when playing those slow moment and when you want to put some hair on it she really screams. You will not find a better guitar under the $600...it is that great!!

I don't know how they can do it, but this guitar is magic, same neck that comes on far more expensive ibanezs, which frankly, plays smoother than a greased billiard ball, and an awesome platform for so many modifications, or even leave it alone! I put v7/v8 pups in from a more expensice ibanez I had because, this one was a far more comfortable and more solid guitar. I thought I would miss mr. rose, not at all, the stability and sustain is worth it. I would say that for for the price, you will never find a nicer built, guitar. This guitar is all business, they didn't waste a cent on pickguards or shiny knobs or fancy bridges, just made a solid axe. Downside, I would say, the stock pickups were kinda muddy, and I think I ruined the volume knob myself (not ibanez's fault) but in all honesty, considering what I payed, I can't complain. Also, grease up the bridge maybe? Tuning is a little kinky, but, I keep forgetting whenever I am changing things up, as it really isn't that big a deal. Frets are kinda soft, but, I play it a fair bit so eventually something is going to give. I dunno. There is white binding going the length of the neck that doesn't really match? But again, minor thing, and some of you kids might think that is cool (I dont know any more, I see them with f-holes painted on them now? What's up with that?) I would say, if you want a good guitar, and don't want to empty your wallet, and can put up with possibly being impaled by the razor sharp pointy bits that ibanez has become famous for, and are able to deal with the neck (it seems to be a love it or hate it thing, the wizard type necks, some people are like "oh, so nice" (like this guy) and other people are like "What in the world are you going to hold onto, there isn't any neck, the frets are all to accessible, cording is effortless, blah blah blah I want a 2x4 like on my 12 string acoustic" and to them I would say, don't buy it.

I bought this model about 3 or 4 years ago. While the stock guitar sound was very good, I changed the pick-ups to Armstrong P90s in a humbucker format, 2 volume controls and a 3-way switch (no tone control). Love this guitar and keep going back to it.

This guitar has very simple no frills features, it's mind-boggling. Mahogany oil finish I love it! INF3 & INF4 pick-ups sound surprisingly very good. The best neck/fretboard I have ever played. no kidding, bending the 1st string in full step is a whole lot easier now with this guitar. Gibraltar standard bridge adds some muscles to the look and tone, and through body string is a plus. It's definitely worth keeping for a long long time. Ibanez definitely scores a big one on this guitar. Keep the production up, please.

I took a trip to Long & Mcquade in Oshawa and this Technical monster really grabbed my eye. So basic and simple but i could not ask for more. I'm a huge fan of the natural finish as well. I recently bought a floyd rose and am finding out i much prefer the standard bridge setup. It's such less of a hassel. I'm definately grabbing this beauty come christmas and applying 2 EMG 85's for some 24 Fret madness.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
