Tough enough for arena stages yet small enough to fit in your backpack, FBV Express MkII delivers a crucial collection of hands-free functionality that will keep you at the foot of the stage instead of tied to the front of your Line 6 amp or POD.

FOUR ON THE FLOOR

FBV Express MkII delivers out-of-the box, plug-n-play connectivity. Stomp the four steel footswitches to quickly store and select channel presets, synchronize your time-based effects with Tap Tempo, activate the chromatic tuner, and more.

When paired with most Spider IV and Spider Valve MkII guitar amplifiers, the footswitches also give you total control of Quick Loop, the amps' built-in 14-second sound-on-sound looper.

The burly, full-sized volume/wah pedal feels solid under your foot and features plenty of grip. Clicking the toe-switch toggles between volume and wah control (with an illuminated LED to match).

The bright and easy-to-read LCD shows tap tempo, active channel and the chromatic tuner (when activated).

FEATURES:
• Hands-free channel switching and more for most Line 6 amps and POD processors
• 4 channel switches: A, B, C and D
• Full-sized volume/wah pedal features plenty of grip
• Chromatic tuner display
• Bright LEDs show active channel, tap tempo and volume/wah
• FBV Control software allows for easy and unlimited mapping of FBV controls via USB (Mac/PC)
• Durable footswitches and chassis
• Self-powered via included locking RJ-45 cable
• USB jack and RJ-45 jack

FBV CONTROL SOFTWARE

Take full advantage of FBV Express MkII with the free and downloadable FBV Control software. The application shows you a graphical representation of your FBV Express MkII and lets you customize the midi commands you send via USB.

Assign the footswitches and pedal to perform MIDI CCs, bank changes, program changes and even transport commands to drive many popular audio applications including ProTools, Propellerhead Reason and Record, and more!

Create and save endless variations - a few for gigs, a few for the studio - and easily add them to your FBV Express MkII via USB.

After playing around with this pedal for 4 or 5 months, I decided to write this review. Well it's a great pedal for the price. I use it with the Amplifi 75 guitar amp from line 6. With that amp you can use an ipad to call up the patches with the amp and effect sounds. But I wanted to control it when playing live without fussing with an ipad. Here is how to make a functional pedal board out of this pedal. 1. choose an amp you like and the three or four effects you want to use with it. 2. Create four different versions of the same amp with only one or two effects turned on at a time. 3. assign each version to pedals A through D. 4. Now use the A B C D switches to turn effects on and off. Be carefull to use the same amp and tone settings for consistency of your sound. You want to change the effects not drastically change your tone. The pedal works with power from the amp so there is no power adapter...(nice touch) The cable is very long (again, handy) Include the wah and volume pedal, with the tuner, and you have a nice small rig that is pretty powerful and compact. This can replace a pedal board with all these effects. vol pedal, wah wah, distortion pedal, chorus, delay, reverb. Any effect combination is possible.

After going without this pedal when I first got my Line 6, I quickly realized that it is worth having! Sure it's a 120$, but it's a tuner, a Volume pedal and a wah all in one, 300$ worth of effects for 120$ and lets not forget the tap tempo and the four channel selectors! I must complain however, since I a loop a lot, and that the wah controls the whole signal that comes out of the amp, so if you have a loop going, it's all going to be affected. Also, if you have a loop going, and you go to the distortion channel, it all goes distortion. Other than that, this is a quick action, plug-n-go pedal that is great for -tap tempo delaying -Tuning (which cuts the signal while activated) -Volume swells -Kill switching -Volume decreasing, with no tone loss

its a great addition to your guitar arsenal its fairly easy to use gives you 4 presets a tuner and a volume/wah peddle and most of all control away from your amp the displays are easy to read in low light and high light and yes it come with a cable currently useing with a line 6 spider MKIV 150 and it made the amp easier to use if your willing to spend the money on it not as expensive as some of the other foot controller options however still not cheap so that being said its a great tool and if the price doesn't bother you go ahead and get one

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
