These are great if you upgrading any P-Bass copy. I put these in a Korean made P-bass copy and they brought new life this bass. I think the stock pickups in a Fender American Standard P-Bass are better for the Fender as they are clearer and more balanced then putting the quarter pounders in the Fender. Other than that, I would buy again for other basses.

Have used the SPB2's on two of my Mex P-basses and just ordered another set for one of my U.S. P-bass. My other U.S. std has Cust Shop PUP's.

This is an economical way to upgrade the MIM bass. The biggest change is an increase in the effective range of the tone control. The sound is big, powerful.
