I love this uke. I installed a low G string in place of the octave higher one, and get a nice full sound, almost like a guitar. Tuners, finish, frets, all very good. Intonation is close to perfect. My uke did develop a minor crack on the top over the dry winter months, but the sound wasn't affected and I was able to repair it. As with all solid wood ukes, you have to keep them in a humidified case, and I didn't. This coming winter I certainly will. Posted by anonymous on Sep 9, 2011
