DR's EXTRA-Life? is the world's finest coated string. EXTRA-Life? has a super thin advanced .0003" coating on the plain strings and on the wrap wire. The wrap wire is coated before the string is wound. The 1st and 2nd plain strings are coated. This coating includes a corrosion inhibiting lacquer for extra protection against damaging substances such as perspiration, dirt, humidity and "acid hands".
