Description
Yorkville's ultimate powered "quake box", the Elite LS2100P promises to loosen the foundations with max SPLs in the 135dB range and lows down to an incredible 32Hz +/-3dB.
Control features include Level, Shape (an adjustable pre-EQ boost) and Hi Freq Rolloff (a low-pass network adjustable from 90-150Hz). Inputs and Outputs are both 1/4" and XLR and include Mono Blend. Additionally, in keeping with Elite powered subwoofer tradition, the 1/4-inch input's gain level is button-selectable to accept either Line or Speaker-level signals. This, coupled with the HF Rolloff control, means that an LS2100P can be instantly inserted into any system by connecting it as an "extension" speaker sub, without either mixer or crossover concerns.
A full-time Limiter provides sonically transparent amp/driver protection with a Limit activity LED. Other LED indicators include Power and Clip.
The LS2100P's compact, heavily reinforced horn enclosure houses a mammoth 21-inch driver with a 6-inch(!) diameter voicecoil and large-format Neodymium magnet structure.
Suitable for any scale of club or concert venues, the LS2100P packs out well with heavy duty tilt-back wheels and a total of 8 all-metal bar handles at the top-back and on the sides. Additionally, a 1 3/8-inch stand adaptor in the top allows a speaker pole to be used to elevate a high power full range loudspeaker.
