I have wanted one of these for a long time, and finally got hold of one recently. It's worth the wait. The fit and finish are just amazing. Better than the old, original Tennesse Rose USA models I've tried, frankly. High quality woods on the fretboard and bridge, mechanically superb. Finish is rich and glossy, and the sound is pure Gretsch twang at its best. It set up nicely for intonation, holds its tune well, despite my whammy bar exertions. I recommend it, although I think you have to be a Gretsch purist to go for the Rose over some of the other models. Still, it certainly is my cup of tea. Posted by Ignoranus on Aug 10, 2011
