A veteran tone freak's dream come true. The Canadian-made Traynor Custom Valve 20WR starts with luscious all-class-A basic performance then adds versatile yet easy-to-use two-channel switching. Then everything goes through Celestion's timeless G12M25 "Greenback". Those are the basics, here are the details..

The two discrete input channels each feature independent Gain and Volume controls for precise drive and comparative loudness adjustment while a master three-way tone stack and Reverb pot round out the simple yet highly functional control array. Add to that a Bright switch on the clean channel and Boost switch on the lead channel and you have the front panel features.

On the back panel you'll find the usual assortment of pro-level goodies - Effects Send & Return jacks, a balanced XLR D.I. line output, a TRS Channel- Select/Boost Footswitch jack (a 2-button kickbox is included)and an Extension Speaker jack. And then there are one or two features you might not expect on such a classic tone beast - a 1/4-inch TRS Headphone output and a Speaker Defeat button so that you can tune and practice in silence.

The YCV20WR's "Class A" power amplifier runs on three 12AX7A's and two EL84/6BQ5's and ensures clean, quiet operation by borrowing the same DC Filament and regulated power supply design found in its big brothers, the industry-standard YCV40 and YCV80. Also like the big boys, the YCV20WR's channel switching is smooth and pop-free.

This one has to be heard to be believed, and it's entirely built in Canada. It also features multi-ply birch cabinetry so it's tough as a little tank and carries Yorkville's legendary transferable warranty;
2 years even if you break or blow something. As well, the cabinet's structural integrity is fully covered for ten years(!)and that all applies throughout Canada and the USA.
