There is a knock against Groove tubes, but the availability, predictability and consistency of their performance is a major selling point for me.
I can go into any music store across North America and find my tubes without any difficulty.
That being said, these are exceptionally good sounding tubes. I used a 7 rated set to clean up the clean channel in my HRDlx.
Night and day. Very, very good.
Maybe there are better tubes out there, but they're out there. These are in my amp, not in the mail.
