Can't beat the price for 16 channels of patching!! On other websites I read that individual ports were reversible which is what I needed. THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! You can only flip the rack ears so yo are reversing all or none. I was able to solder some custom cables to make it all work for me. Some people have complained there are no tabs on the front panel to lock in MALE XLR cables, but even without locking tabs, the connectors fit firmly in the female sockets. Not a problem. Would recommend .

A sturdy and well constructed box. Its great for connecting mic cables to the front of my rack, instead of having to crawl to the back to connect and disconnect the cables. Outputs are directly connected to inputs so phantom power will pass through. The rack ears are reversible, so the unit is very flexible.
