VintageBronze gives you clarity, tone and response like no other string. Add a great feel and long life, and there's not much more you could ask for, is there? Okay, we made the string, now you make the music.

I got my first six-string after my granddad passed on in the summer of 76. My grandma told me hed said he wanted it to go to me. So after the service down at the VFW, she took me out to the car and pulled out an old, battered case and she handed it to me. She said there was something special inside. I was twelve years old. There was a lot more to what was in that case.

I wanted to reduce the metalicy sound of my acoustic guitar and increase playability. So I bought the 11-46 phosbronze gauge. I prefer the mellow sound because I play some blues/rock. This Dean Markley is just amazing and good investment. The smaller gauge didnt, for me, sacrifice the brightness. It was good enough for my everyday practice at home without annoying my neighbour. It is affordable enough. It last me about 4-5 months with one hour practice/day.
