Playing bass for 15 years, I have played absolutely every make of string available on the market; while in my local L&M to purchase my usual set of strings, I decided to spend a mere $7.50 to try these out on one of my back-up basses that desperately needed a string change. After putting them on and fine tuning, I was amazed at how much I loved these strings; they are very, very similar to the feel and tone of Rotosound bass strings, for a fraction of the cost! At first they are a little rigid and chew up your fingers like Rotos, but after they are broken in, they feel great. I fully intend on purchasing a few of these packs for emergency bass strings, or if a backup bass needs strings.
